Employee Benefits

Darlington County DSN Board offers a comprehensive benefit package through the State of South Carolina.  Health, dental, life, disability, and long-term care insurance are offered through the SC Employee Insurance Program.  In addition, supplemental insurance can be obtained thru AFLAC, Colonial Life, and Washington National Insurance companies.  All full time and part time employees are required to be a member of the SC Retirement System.  Employee contributions are currently 9% of gross wages.  Another pre-tax savings program is the SC Deferred Compensation Program.  The board also provides a generous leave package including holidays, vacation, sick, family and medical, bereavement, jury duty, and military.
